The Treehouse was founded by a former teacher, school administrator, and mom of two neurodivergent children. With years of experience in education, she saw firsthand how the system often fails kids who don’t “fit the mold.” Her children were bright, curious, and creative—but labeled as “not struggling enough” to get the help they needed.
So she decided to write a new story—starting with her own children.
What started as a simple homeschooling journey for two soon blossomed into something truly special. Free classes at the local library, thoughtfully planned field trips, and a growing circle of incredible families turned into a shared adventure in learning and connection. Within just a few weeks, more families joined the journey—and what began as a small act of love quickly grew into a vibrant, supportive community.
And from that beautiful momentum, The Homeschool Treehouse was born—a haven where children feel safe, inspired, and free to be exactly who they are.
